What Versions of the TOEFL Are Available in Madrid?

Currently, in Madrid you can register for three versions of TOEFL:

TOEFL iBT: this is the most recognized version worldwide. It is currently accepted in more than 11,500 institutions, including universities, companies, and consulates. In fact, when you hear about TOEFL preparation, it’s probably the TOEFL iBT. This is an online test that takes a little over 3 hours and is taken at authorized centers. The test is scored from 0 to 120 points, which are accumulated by answering the four sections of the test: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking.
TOEFL iBT Home Edition: This version is the same as the TOEFL iBT, with the difference that it can be taken from home. To do this, you will need to download the ETS browser to your computer and register to take the test at one of the available appointments. For the TOEFL iBT Home Edition you can get appointments even 24 hours in advance.
TOEFL Essentials: this is one of the latest versions developed by the ETS organization. TOEFL Essentials is a simplified test that lasts 90 minutes. It is intended for people who want certification for both academic and non-academic reasons. This version of TOEFL is increasingly gaining worldwide recognition, especially in the United States. However, it does not yet have the same level of acceptance as the TOEFL iBT. On the ETS website, you can see a list of institutions that accept this test.

TOEFL iBT Price in Madrid

The current price of the TOEFL iBT in Madrid is (USD) $255. This price is the same whether you test at an authorized center or at home with the TOEFL Home Edition. When registering for the TOEFL IBT, it is important to always check for updated pricing and complete the registration process through the official ETS website. Some authorized centers offer additional test-counseling services, which may incur additional fees. If you are interested in taking the TOEFL Essentials, the price for this test is 120$.
