Social Studies Test Structure
The GED Social Studies test consists of 35 questions for which you have 70 minutes to answer. To take the GED social studies test, you will need to apply concepts from the social science field such as interpreting graphs, charts and maps, as well as analyzing data and reports. Types of Questions On the GED Social Studies Test
Although most of the questions you will encounter on the GED social studies test are multiple-choice questions, there are 4 possible question types:-
– Multiple-choice questions: questions in which you are going to have to choose from 4 options. Remember that incorrect answers do not penalize your score on the social studies test.

– Fill in the blanks: in this type of questions you will have to fill in a word/phrase or a number in the blank provided.

– Hot zones: For graph questions, you will have to click on particular zones that represent the answer you want to give.

– Drag and Drop: Consists of moving a specific piece of information to an area that needs to be filled in.

The GED social studies test is passed with a score of 145 points. If you read English content about it, you may see that some websites mark the passing score at 150 points.
